So......Tired.....

Hello Friends...

I am about ready to fall asleep at work today. I was up playing World of Warcraft with Erik agian last night, and before I knew it, it was 5:00 a.m. and I had to be up for work in less the two hours!!! So here I am, barely able to speak at work, with a splitting headache, despite the three aspirin I popped an hour ago. I can't really focus on work, so instead I thoght I'd waste a few minutes updating ya'll on my goings on.

Last night was fun, but boy is that game addictive. I'm supposed to go to lunch with some of the guys from work (Tim and Steve) but I think I'm going to skip it and take a nap in my car. Not that that will help. It'll probably just make me feel worse. The saddest part is, I'll probably get talked into playing some more by Erik tonight. Oh well...I'm for sure going to go to bed at a reasonable time tonight. Besides, I still have that new pack of Soprano's DVD's to get through. I'm up to season three. Sure, I'm a little behind the curve, but I love that show. It's my second favorite, behind the Simpsons of course. Nothing could ever top that show.

Well, time's up. I should get back to work. I think the medicine is finally kicking in (or maybe the coffee). Until later!

Another Day Another Penny

Sorry I didn't update yesterday, I got really caught up at work, and didn't have time to do anything with my poor blog. Oh well.

Work work work. Sometimes it feels like that's all I ever do. It's not that I hate my job, but sometimes it feels like my job is taking over the rest of my life, like some sort of virus. Oh well. I just got a new laser mouse for my computer. Boy did I need that!!! My old one went on the fritz, and the third and fourth buttons haven't been working for at least a month. I'd just been putting it off, since I'm trying to save up for a new surround sound system. I'm halfway there kids. You really need to enjoy Star Wars witht he new sound they've done.

Other than that, not much new in my space. Sorry, I wish I could say I had something more interesting to write about, like a car chase, or some new romantic interest n my life, but all I have to talk about is how Norm, the guy I sit next to, has an annoying nasal whistle. Until next time, True Believers!!!

Welcome Everyone!!!

Hello!!! This is my very first "blog" entry ever. I read about these recently in a magazine (I can't remember if it was Time, or Newsweek) and decided to give it a shot. It seems kinda neat. Wow, that sounded really lame. I swear I'm not that big of a loser. Oh well...

So a little indroduction about myself. My name is JD, and I live in the great city of Minneapolis, all by my lonesome self in a decent sized 1 bedroom apartment. I'm in my mid 20's, dissappointed about being single (maybe I can find some internet babes!!!), and pretty much loving life. I graduated from SCSU (St. Cloud State University for those who aren't in the "know") 2 years ago, majored in Business Marketing, and minored in Fine Arts, specifically painting. I know, what a weird combo. I really love painting, but I'm just not good enough to make a living at it. And I'm not going to fool myself into believing I am, and end up some scuzzy looking fifty year old with long hair and a beard, who asks for spare change at the local coffee shop.

I work for a company that does title work. You know, like when you get a morgate for your home, you need to track and make sure the title to the deed is all in order, and arange to have it placed under your name, assuming the loan is approved. Or even if your simply doing a refi, you still need to verify the title. It isn't glamorous work by any stretch of the imagination, but it pays the bills, and I have enough left over to buy paints, stretchers, and canvas when I need to, and even feed my ongoing need to play video games. That's right, my number 1 pass time is the video game. I hate T.V. I think it's a waste of my valueable time. I love reading as well.

My good friend Erik lives in the same building as me, and shares my penchant for the vids. He's an IT worker for a small internet design company. He does quite well for himself. I always kind of wished I knew more about computers and things. I mean, I'm OK with them, but he's great. We've been absolutely glued to World of Warcraft these last couple of days. I can't seem to tear myself oway from it. It's everything people hoped Ultima Online would have been. I'm a dwarven Paladin, and he's a human Druid. We make a pretty killer comonation with some other friends we've made online. He turns into a huge bear, and is pretty much unstoppable in my Aura. Anyway, it's pretty fun, and if you haven't tried it, you should.

Well, I should get going, I'm actually at work, and I don't want to get busted for surfing the web on the company's payroll. I'll update again soon!

P.S. Happy Day after Thankgiving everyone!!!
