Tonight Is Fright Night!

So, tonight the night that Erik is going to sleep over at my place, and we're going to stay up late and see if anything weird happens. Erik is bringing his old Ouiji Board, and we might play with it, if I can work up the courage (not likely). He's excited, I'm not. Not that I think Ouiji Boards really do anything. I mean, c'mon, do you think fisher price really has an "in" with the spirit world?

I can't get Carrie out of my mind. It's like, just as soon as I start trying to not think about her, she has to go and call me, and send me back into a rollercoaster of emotions. I'm glad it's the weekend, because it's really hard to concentrate on anything at work, but I don't know how excited I am for tomorrow night. What if she really does love me back? Or what if she doesn't? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to offend my female friends I've made in the blogging world, but for the love of crumb cake your gender is confusing. At least with most guys, you mostly know what you get. They like sports, want sex, and drink alchohol. There's no real guessing game. None of this ambigious "Don't ever call me again; Oh wait, let's go have dinner" crap!

OK, sorry about that. Life is good, and I shouldn't complain. We'll just have to see how things go, and take them slowly. Wish me luck as an official Ghostbuster tonight. I'm sure I'll have either an incredibly scary story to tell tomorrow, or an incredibly anti-climactic one.

:)

my cousin and i got really brave when we were younger and made our own homemade ouija board.

now i am not a nether-world genius...or even a nether-world non-genius (yeah creativity sucks on this) but i think a homemade ouija board would be more damning than a bought one. because we had so much 'want' to talk to a ghost, we had to create a means of communication. don't you think ghosts like passion?

speaking of passion....good luck with carrie. yes girls are difficult. we are evil. we shop too much. but rest assured that we, also, want some alcohol and sex. sports?...well...some of us like that too.

Ah, the "yes yes" board... I'll tell you flat out that that thing is full of beans; that's where the power comes from--Mexican jumping beans. I'm kidding.

Sex and alcohoal? The two most depressing things in my life... I can't even talk to girls and I start crying whenever the other gets near my face. I guess Taekwondo is a sport, so does that make me a guy still?

Good luck with your lady friend.

I have it on good authority that the ability to contact the spirit world via a ouija board is inversely proportionate to the likelihood of having sex.

hey, sorry i haven't commented in a while. wow, all this stuff going on in your house sounds awesome. bloody frightening (i wouldn't be able to handle sleeping in my house after the first night), but still kinda cool. i hope something happens, nothing bad, but just so erik can have some fun hah. and so you guys can figure out what's going on.

and i really hope carrie isn't playing more games with you. she better have come to her senses, and seen what an awesome guy you are. good luck with that, kid. let us all know how it turns out.

and it does seem as though people are nicer on the internet. my feeling is just that we're all rather quiet and nerdy. there ARE those out there who are jerks, but i don't think they'd really sit online waiting to find someone to make fun of. that's what the public is for. ...jerks...
